Piper Heidsieck Hors-Serie Vintage Brut 1971

Exceptionally well-aged vintage Champagne that has been resting in the Piper-Heidsieck cellars since the early 1970s. The nose is full of rich fruits with quince, fig, plum and dates that over time are joined by lighter aromas of anise and dried flowers. The palate shows lots of spice and citrus alongside mature flavours of dark chocolate and porcini mushroom. A rare treat.
